xml files problem (i think)

So I updated to the latest sever version 3.0.5490.2 beta

I uploaded a music folder  to sever and Images were downloaded for the album but the xml files are not in the folder. I can see all the metadata in the metadata manager

and when I hit save it's not saving to that folder. To be honest I have no clue where they being saved to.  

 

Am I missing something with this latest update or is their a problem

enable nfo for music. that's the only metadata format we're saving music to. we only use the xml if you happen to already have it there

thanks Luke, I didn't know About nfo for music. I was just wondering why no xml file anymore?

our defaults now favor nfo because they are used by a number of other applications, therefore it gives us greater compatibility. and it lets our users use other tools that will work out of the box with it. we still support reading all the xml if you have them, and we still have options to write xml for movies, tv, etc, if you really want to do that.
