tp546 41 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 hey guys, for some reason a few of my videos look like they are being recognized as folders - when i enter them in MBC, it says 0 items out of 0 and when i look in metadata manager, they have the plus next to them to expand, as if they are folders. whats the easiest way to fix this?
tp546 41 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 i just found series.xml files in the folders in question and deleted them, but that doesn't seem to have fixed it. ill try moving them somewhere else and back to the same directory in hopes MB will think they are new.
tp546 41 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 and that didn't work either. any help is appreciated.
Tranquil 94 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I can confirm this. On some recently added items I've the same issue.
ebr 16184 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 TV not in a standard topfolder/series/season format? Look at some of the other topics out here recently regarding this and please try the latest dev version to see if it resolves your issues. Thanks.
tp546 41 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 No it's not TV (it's actually porn haha) but MB seems to be recognizing it as TV. I have 30+ folders in there and they all have the same naming convention in the xml (begins with e### so that's probably part of the problem) but only 8 of them are getting picked up as seasons for some reason. I just tried the latest dev build and nothing seems to have changed. I'll take a look around and see if I can find a fix and if I do I'll post back here.
r4m3u5 29 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I should have actually posted in this thread See HERE
ebr 16184 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 TP - have you tried setting the type on that media folder to home videos?
tp546 41 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 hi ebr, i just set the parent folder to home videos (all the subfolders are set to inherit) but that didn't change anything.
tp546 41 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 looks like i spoke too soon - i just checked again and they seem to be fixed now. ill let you know if i see anything that tells me otherwise.
