hotsauce 1 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Hi, My NAS (Synology) has a bunch of folders that i want MB to ignore. On plex i could just place a file called .plexignore on the share with included the foldernames to exclude (wildcards) and the rule would apply to the entire share/subfolders. Is there a way to fix this in MB?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Have you tried the .ignore file? https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Excluding-files-&-folders
hotsauce 1 Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Ah, this should work :-) But it would have been easier to have one file that applies to all its subdirs also.
Maleficarum 68 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 If you have a folder where you want subdirs hidden also just set the top folder as hidden in properties and select the "apply to this folder, subfolders and files" option. This will do the trick.
ebr 16169 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 .ignore in a top folder should cause everything under it to be ignored as well.
