johnodon 18 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I am using v3.0.5464.40000 of MBS in Docker. When I link my local MBS account to my forum account, I get the confirmation email but the server details are incorrect. This is what I get: I have no idea what Peter's Mediaserver is. It does show up in when I visit http://app.mediabrowser.tv but it is unreachable. Any ideas? John
johnodon 18 Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 Wow...something is definitely screwy. I created a new account on my MBS and again tried to link it to my mediabrowser.tv account (johnodon). This time I got this email: Confirm Media Browser Account LinkHello, This account has been requested to link to the server Media. Please confirm this action by clicking the link below: "Media" is another server that is unknown to me. John
johnodon 18 Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) What is the name of your server? Friendly server name? "John's MediaBrowser Server". Edited January 5, 2015 by johnodon
ebr 16169 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Would you mind PMing me the public IP address (or ddns address if you've defined that) of your server, and the address of the server that was sent to you in the link?
johnodon 18 Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 FYI...I deleted the friendly name and restarted MBS. I then tried to link again and now it thinks my server name is Tower: Confirm Media Browser Account LinkHello, This account has been requested to link to the server Tower. Please confirm this action by clicking the link below: My server name is unRAID.
johnodon 18 Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 Friendly server name? "John's MediaBrowser Server". Would you mind PMing me the public IP address (or ddns address if you've defined that) of your server, and the address of the server that was sent to you in the link? Sure thing. FYI...I do use a DDNS account. I'll send it. TIA! John
