Enlarge buffering to stop pauses when streaming to Xbox one

Is there an option to allow for a larger buffer when streaming to Xbox one.

 

I seem to be noticing pauses while the stream tries to catch up. Happens every two minutes or so.

 

I think if I could enlarge the buffer, it would have more room to stream and stop the pauses, I think...

I've noticed this as well, however here is a funny trick to fix it. Simply change the transcode quality (the gear icon top right during the stream) to the next quality, up or down, and it will be fine. The initial stream has this issue for some reason.

When I start the stream on Xbox one I don't see any gear icon.

 

Is this something I have to change in the web client?

 

I am using the "media player" in Xbox one to access the network drive which media browser server makes available.

Ah, that is the DLNA server, my mistake. I use IE on the Xbox One and open up the Media Browser web interface. When you play this way, there would be a quality icon (the gear) top right corner. I'll have to give DLNA a try to see if I notice this issue as well.
