Missing/Future Episodes

Am I right to assume that the theme handles how missing/future episodes are displayed?

 

Reason being Pearl on MBC 3.0.88.0 is showing these episodes as watched when only the metadata exists and not the actual episodes.

Yes, this is up to the theme.  I updated both the default theme and Chocolate to handle them.  With Pearl, you are out of luck because it is no longer under any development.

 

As for watched status, though, the core does treat all missing/unaired episodes as watched because the alternative is that they are un-watched and that messes up things like un-watched counts.
