Make sure to check out our Emby Documentation for more useful information. Android App Issues Please create a topic in the Emby Community Forums. Describe the problem in your own words, including what you're trying to accomplish, and where you're getting stuck. If you saw error messages, please tell us what they were. If the problem is difficult to explain, please include screenshots that demonstrate the issue. Please capture the Emby for Android app log. Please note that if the app is running on the NVIDIA Shield, then there may not be an email app running for sending the log file through the share log feature. See text relating to the NVIDIA Shield below. Also note that the app logs are currently not sanitized. Do not upload the raw logs to the forum but indicate that they have been captured and the logs can be made available in a private message. See the section below titled "Android Logs". Include the version of the Emby for Android app and also the version of Emby Server that you're using. The server information can be found on the front page of the server's web dashboard. if the app crashed, and you're prompted to submit a crash report, please make sure to do so. In most cases, the Emby Server log is also helpful. Please see the section below "Emby Server Logs". Android Logs To obtain an app log, you'll need to do the following: Enable app logging in the app's settings Force close the app and restart it Recreate the issue that you're experiencing Obtain the app log from inside the app, in the Logs section Use the Share option to send the log(s) to yourself. For NVIDIA Shield, there may not be an email program to use. Instead you will need to get the app logs through the NVIDIA Shield local network access feature documented by NVIDIA here: How do I share SHIELD TV folders with a PC. The Emby for Android logs would be in this path: `/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.mb.android/files/logs` accessible through a mapped network drive to the `Internal` disk NVIDIA share. The `Internal` share takes you to the `/storage/emulated/0/` directory.
