theGeek 4 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Hi folks, Been a longtime media browser use on a HTPC. I also have a pair of Roku 2s that I used for Amazon Prime and Netflix. I have an upcoming move and now might be as good a time as any to the ditch HTPCs. plus it would be nice to have one less item in the media cabinet. So... how well does media browser work on a Roku 2... particularly my full bitrate bluray rips? I'd rather not have to transcode anything to my main home theater.
FrostByte 5392 Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 If your rips are over 20 Mbps then it will transcode.
Luke 42077 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 actually 3.2 Mbps by default, but it can be fine tuned 1
