Installed Media Browser server .. nothing happened?

Does Media Browser run in the background or something? I installed it and then nothing happened. No icons anywhere or anything. Am I missing something?

We will need more information than this. If you navigate to "users/username/appData/Roaming/", do you see any MediaBrowser folders?

 

Media Browser can run in the background, but the option can only be selected once you've installed Media Browser and set it up in the advanced settings.

when you install it pops open your web browser. maybne it failed to launch your browser. try checking the system try for the server icon -> right click -> configure. 

 

if that still doesn't open the browser, then try visiting

 

http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser
