sMorph 0 Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago Hi all, I'm the developer of Morph Audiophile, an Android music player that plays your Emby music library alongside local files, SMB, UPnP, Jellyfin and Navidrome. Disclosure: it's my own app, built by a single developer. What it does with Emby: Browses your music library by album, with favourites, play history, playlists (create, edit, delete) and instant mix. Plays the original files at full quality, including hi-res, without transcoding. No Emby Premiere needed on the phone side: it talks to the server API directly. What it adds on the playback side: Its own USB audio driver for external DACs: bit-perfect PCM up to 1536 kHz, native DSD and DoP up to DSD1024, multichannel, bypassing Android's resampling. Optional DSP (parametric EQ, AutoEq, room correction), all switchable off. Android Auto, Chromecast and DLNA output. Emby support is new: I tested it against Emby Server 4.10 with a small library, so I'm looking for people with real Emby libraries to tell me what breaks. How to connect, in the current test build: Streaming → Server e NAS → Add NAS or server → choose Jellyfin (same API) and type your server address by hand, e.g. http://192.168.1.10:8096, with your Emby user and password. A dedicated Emby entry with automatic discovery is coming in the next update. It's in a Google Play closed test, free and open to anyone, no approval needed: Join https://groups.google.com/g/morph-audiophile-tester Open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/it.paolo.morph, tap "Become a tester" and install from the Play Store. Google requires testers to stay enrolled for 14 days, so please don't leave early even if you stop using it. Thanks, and happy to answer questions.
