No downloads, stuck on 'Ready To Transfer'

Hi, I'm using the latest Mac Emby app connected via local wifi to a Debian mini-PC running an Emby server.

I'm unable to get Downloads to work; it's stuck on Ready to Transfer.

Manually pressing the Schedule task option makes it run for a second, and then nothing happens.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Emby Player on macOS, but it still doesn't work.
