UI Bug - Favourites and Played

My parents use the AppleTV interface and I was just visiting and realized when a TV show is selected and marked as a favourite, the UI has a small bug:

 

The first two states make sense:

Non-favourited TV show where button is not actively selected: button has a white heart. 

Non-favourited TV show where the button is actively selected: button has a white heart. 

 

But then after you favourite a show:

Button is not actively selected: button has a red heart. (expected) 

Actively select the button: icon changes back to a white heart. 

 

So effectively when the Favourite button is selected you can't determine if the current show is favourited or not. 

 

I'm also pretty sure this happens if you mark an entire show as played. I'll see if I can get more info and photos or screenshots.
