sundevil67 30 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago My emby-server folder on my Mac Mini is eating up nearly 60GB of HD space; it is pretty much all metadata. I have a pretty large Emby library I suppose; & all of the significant media lives on an external HD with a few TB to spare. Unfortunately the Mac Mini has only 250GB capacity on the internal HD. Is there a fairly painless way to chop this down? There are thousands of shows I'll never watch (STRM files a few k each). Thanks
sundevil67 30 Posted 48 minutes ago Author Posted 48 minutes ago /root-user/emby-server/ = 58.35GB /root-user/emby-server/metadata = 53.58GB /root-user/emby-server/cache = 1.6GB /root-user/emby-server/data = 2.91GB
Luke 43461 Posted 40 minutes ago Posted 40 minutes ago If you look under metadata it’s just going to be images. It really just depends on what features your enable on your libraries. Everything comes with a resource consumption cost.
