Lasikie 4 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Hi everyone, I'm the maintainer of Plekt, a self-hosted app that keeps watched state and resume progress in sync between Plex, Emby, Jellyfin and connected trackers. I've released a free Emby server plugin and would welcome beta testers. The plugin sends playback start, pause, unpause, stop, progress, and explicit watched/unwatched changes to your Plekt server. Progress is limited to once every 30 seconds. No Emby Premiere subscription or built-in webhook is required. Install: 1. Download Emby.Plugin.Plekt.dll from the release below. 2. Stop Emby Server, copy the DLL into its plugins directory (/config/plugins inside a linuxserver.io Docker container), then start Emby Server. 3. Open Settings > Plugins > Plekt in Emby and paste the complete webhook URL from Plekt > Settings > Media Servers > Webhooks, including its token. 4. Use a hostname or LAN address reachable from Emby. In Docker, localhost refers to the Emby container. 5. Disable any built-in Emby webhook pointing to the same Plekt instance to avoid duplicate events. I've been running the plugin on my own live Emby server. A read-only log check confirms the plugin loads and live Emby events reach Plekt. Version 0.1.0.1 has also been tested locally on Emby Server 4.10.1.0; reports from other setups and playback clients would be useful. Download and install the plugin using the steps above. I’m gathering feedback before submitting it to Emby’s plugin catalog. Download and setup: https://github.com/Lasikiewicz/emby-plugin-plekt/releases/tag/v0.1.0.1 Source: https://github.com/Lasikiewicz/emby-plugin-plekt About Plekt: https://plekt.net/ Licence: GPL-3.0-or-later. Please report your Emby version, playback client, what you did, and what happened in Plekt. Feedback on pause/resume, completing playback, and manually marking items watched or unwatched would help. Remove tokens, webhook URLs and personal information from any logs you share. Thanks for testing. Emby.Plugin.Plekt.dll
