RobbyBobby 17 Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Just to add that I'm getting recordings of minutes on my Mac too. I've had to fire up Plex for DVD recordings.   embyserver-63928483205.txt embyserver-63928566005.txt

RobbyBobby 17 Posted 12 hours ago Author Posted 12 hours ago (edited) Here's an example from last night. I recorded Masterchef. 5 minutes of padding at the start and 10 minutes at the end. The episode was 60 minutes long. So there should be a recording of around 75 minutes. On Emby it's 21 minutes long. Looking at the files on disk, there are 3 recordings for the same show, all starting at the same time. FYI: MasterChef The Professionals S19E01.ts AND MasterChef The Professionals S19E01 - 1.ts Are both 21 minutes long. And identical. MasterChef The Professionals S19E01 - 2.ts contains the entire 1 hour and 15 minute recording. I attach the server log.  embyserver-63929260804.txt Edited 12 hours ago by RobbyBobby
Luke 43502 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago @RobbyBobby The server thinks it ran for 75 minutes: 2026-11-03 21:10:00.570 Info LiveTV: Recording stopped: 47758c2da96119ab9de7cf622652a018 /Volumes/Recordings/DVR/Recorded TV Shows/MasterChef The Professionals (2008)/Season 19/MasterChef The Professionals S19E01 - 2.ts More importantly, if you look at the log, there are no entries between 19:56 and 21:10. that tells me the macOS machine either went to sleep, or it put some resources to sleep that are required by the recording process. As a test, if you stay at the machine the entire time throughout the recording, and pull up the emby server web interface every few minutes, are you able to get this to happen?
