Emby Arabic UI – Shahid Customizer

Package Name: EmbyShahidUI

Version: 1.0.0

Platform: QNAP NAS / QTS

Required Application: Emby Server

Overview

Emby Arabic UI is a web interface customization add-on designed to enhance the Emby Server viewing experience. It introduces Arabic-oriented styling, right-to-left layout support, promotional slides, welcome messages, and visual enhancements for media libraries and administration pages.

Main Components and Features

1. Arabic Theme and Styling (CSS): Customizes interface colors, navigation menus, buttons, section headings, media cards, and selected administration pages. Includes responsive styling for mobile devices.

2. Interactive Interface and Carousel (JavaScript): Adds a promotional slideshow to the Emby home page, featuring customizable titles, descriptions, and images.

3. Welcome and Promotional Slides: Includes a welcome message for Al-Atheer Net Wireless Rest Area and a promotional slide for watching international and Arab sports matches.

4. Carousel Management: Provides administrators with a configuration interface to edit slide titles, descriptions, image paths, and the number of recently added items. Administrators can also add new slides and save their changes.

5. New Series Notifications: Detects recently added television episodes and displays a notification listing new series and the number of episodes added.

6. Custom Media Cover Ribbons: Allows administrators to add custom labels to media covers, such as “New,” “Latest,” and “Exclusive,” and remove them when needed.

7. Administration Interface Enhancements: Applies a dark visual style to selected dashboard pages, forms, input fields, and related components while keeping the navigation menu button visible.

8. Bundled Images: Includes a network welcome image and a sports stadium image for use in promotional slides.

How It Works

The add-on customizes the existing Emby Server web interface using bundled CSS, JavaScript, and image assets. During installation or activation, it locates the Emby web interface, copies the customization assets, and inserts references to the stylesheet and JavaScript into the main HTML page.

The add-on creates a backup of the original HTML page before modifying it. Its stop and removal routines can restore the original page from that backup when available.

Important Notes

- This package is a web interface customization add-on, not a standalone media server.

- Emby Server must already be installed and enabled on a compatible QNAP NAS.

- The package is designed for QNAP QTS and is not a native Windows installer.

- Certain features, including carousel management and media cover ribbons, depend on Emby APIs and administrator permissions.

- Actual compatibility depends on the Emby version, web interface structure, and QNAP environment.

- تتطلب وجود Emby Server وتثبيته وتفعيله على جهاز QNAP متوافق.

- الحزمة مصممة للتثبيت على QNAP QTS، ولا تُعد برنامج تثبيت مباشرًا لنظام Windows.
