eunux 0 Posted Monday at 06:37 PM Posted Monday at 06:37 PM Same here on 4.10.1.0 (Linux, Docker), and I think I've found the cause. Long .ts recordings never get a BIF: the extraction is killed after 30 minutes. The command Emby runs is: ffmpeg -f mpegts -threads 1 -skip_interval 10 -i file:"…ts" -an -sn -vf "scale=w=320:h=180" -r 0.1 -f image2 -b:v 100M … Run by hand on a 2 h 13 m 1080p50 H.264 recording, that command runs at 5.5x with thousands of dropped frames, so -skip_interval isn't skipping. The identical command with -copyts added before -i runs at 364x and finishes in about 20 seconds. Logs posted here from 4.8.11 show the mpegts command used to include -copyts (and -vsync cfr); from 4.9.1.x on it doesn't, which matches when people in this thread say BIFs stopped. Could -copyts be restored for the mpegts quick-extract?
