HawkXP71 133 Posted Sunday at 04:32 PM Posted Sunday at 04:32 PM Running emby for android v3.5.55 A great enhancement would be for app settings to limit parallel downloads. It's not a server or even a user issue, it's a client side app issue purely. Let me give you the example. I'm heading out on a trip, gonna be a 6 hour flight, so I started the download. Unfortunately the tablet decided to update overnight, and without a login and opening up emby, I only got about 1/2 my download. And of course the episodes are complete in order (got 2, 3, and 4 not 1). Now I'm at the airport stuck on lowspeed public wifi. It's trying to download 2 or 3 episodes and 1 movie. Right now I only care about the missing episodes. I would love to be able to say, download 1 at a time, and maximize the slow speed to one file. I'd much rather download 2 full files and one partial third rather than getting 3 partial files. The other enhancement I would really love, is to be able to flatten the configure download page, and list every file being downloaded, but make the order changeable by the user. This would allow me to order the files priority. Having it limited to queued only, would absolutely fine. I don't care if it said converting and transferring were locked. Another option, would be to add a stop download, and force restart of download on an individual file basis. I have found if the download dies midway, I have to clear the cache on the app (android) 1
