LiangShunqi 0 Posted Sunday at 09:23 AM Posted Sunday at 09:23 AM Hi everyone, I’m hoping to get some advice on my current Emby + Kodi setup. Current setup: Emby indexes a mounted 115 cloud drive (115 PanCloud) containing over 80 TB of movie content. Kodi reads the Emby library and uses yaozhi mpv (a custom MPV player) as an external player to play Blu-ray disc content. I’m using StrmAssistantPro (a third-party Emby metadata/scraping plugin) for metadata scraping. Problems: Emby library scanning is extremely slow because of the very large library on the 115 mounted drive. Even with StrmAssistantPro enabled, a significant number of movies still fail to be scraped/matched. I want to keep the interactive Blu-ray menu functionality. I previously tried generating .strm files with FastStrm, but it seems the Blu-ray menu pages were not preserved. Questions: What are the best practices to speed up Emby library scanning for a very large library on a mounted 115 cloud drive? For example, are there recommended folder structures, library settings, scan options, or mounting/indexing strategies? How can I improve metadata scraping success in this scenario? Are there specific settings in StrmAssistantPro, naming conventions, NFO strategies, or alternative scrapers that would help? Is there any way to preserve full Blu-ray menu interactivity when using Emby/Kodi/yaozhi mpv? Has anyone successfully used .strm files, ISO/BDMV folders, or another method while keeping the menus? Any suggestions or examples of working setups would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
