smitbret 7 Posted Friday at 08:27 PM Posted Friday at 08:27 PM I have been using Emby for the last few upgrades and seem to have lost control of my Collections. There are really too many titles to go through and clean up manually so I was hoping to point my TinyMediaManager at it and clean it up that way. Problem is, the location of the data has changed at some point and my TMM doesn't point to the right folder(s). I Googled it and have a few choices but I can't tell what is based on the pre-4.?whatever version that changed it. I have about 3 different folders in my system that seem to have collection info but I don't know what is safe to delete as old/deprecated and what carries the current info. I couldn't locate the answer in the current Emby Documentation. Any help on this?
smitbret 7 Posted Friday at 08:42 PM Author Posted Friday at 08:42 PM (edited) Found it. As of Emby version 4.10.1.0 it is: \\<host-pc name>\Emby\metadata\collections Edited Friday at 08:43 PM by smitbret
smitbret 7 Posted Friday at 09:12 PM Author Posted Friday at 09:12 PM Well, looks like I spoke too soon. Looks like that address will save/edit the .nfo file but art work is nowhere to be found. Anybody got any tips?
Luke 43402 Posted Friday at 10:26 PM Posted Friday at 10:26 PM Hi, there's no nfo for the collection, but rather the other way around. The movie nfo contains the collection information in the <set> node.

Are you also saying that there is no way to change the collection metadata and artwork outside of Emby?
Luke 43402 Posted Sunday at 02:42 AM Posted Sunday at 02:42 AM actually it will still save an nfo and images in there, so yes you can edit metadata that way. but the actual collection items are not in there anymore. those are in the movie nfo files.
smitbret 7 Posted Sunday at 04:27 AM Author Posted Sunday at 04:27 AM That's fine. I can control the titles with TMM. I just want to be able to correct the collection titles and art. The artwork, however, doesn't seem to be showing up in the collections folder, just the .nfo 1
smitbret 7 Posted Sunday at 04:36 AM Author Posted Sunday at 04:36 AM I take it back. There is artwork in those folders. Thanks. 1
