Alepim 10 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Hi! Recently, videos from my Synology NAS stopped playing on my iPad. There hadn’t been any updates just before this started happening. I tried downloading the files to my iPad—sometimes it works, but at a very slow speed; most of the time, it doesn’t work at all. I checked, and there are no app updates available. I downloaded the server software and manually updated it on my Synology (running version 7.2). I also checked on my iPhone, and I’m experiencing the same issues there.
Luke 43346 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks! 1

Luke 43346 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Could the bitrate just be too high for the convection? Can you try lowering the quality in app settings? 1
Alepim 10 Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago On the iPhone, the "Auto" setting is selected everywhere. On the iPad, see the attached file.
Luke 43346 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago can you try setting it to 1 mbps? If that succeeds then you can try raising it. 1
