MrHerps 2 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I was successfully playing downloaded videos a few weeks ago without issue on the Android Emby app on my Samsung S26 Ultra. Tonight I wanted to play some videos offline from my downloads and I just get the spinning circle and it jumps back to downloads. Downloaded Audio books and Music play just fine. So far I've tried: checking app permissions Clearing Cache data changing where downloads are stored Deleting old downloads and re downloading videos. If I go to the Emby system folder in android the raw video file will play using VLC so it isn't the video file being corrupted. Is this related to a recent update? Samsung seems to push a new update for this phone every week. Thanks
Luke 43336 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Hi there, what version number of the app do you have ?
MrHerps 2 Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago 3.5.55 I checked Google pay store and it doesn't give me an option to update.
Luke 43336 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago OK you can temporarily enable logging, try to play again and then provide a log from the app: Thanks.
MrHerps 2 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Ok, I enabled logging, I played some downloads that failed to play, I checked logs and it just states "no items found". I tried actually streaming Some videos that did play without issue and I get the same message on the logs screen.
