podonnell 55 Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Hi, While looking through my Emby log I have been seeing errors, looks like my last Trakt update was on July 16th of this year. The errors I see in the log: 2026-10-14 00:03:31.345 Info HttpClient: POST https://api.trakt.tv/oauth/token 2026-10-14 00:03:31.385 Info HttpClient: Http response 400 from https://api.trakt.tv/oauth/token after 39ms 2026-10-14 00:03:31.386 Error Trakt: Exception handled sending status update *** Error Report *** Version: 4.10.1.0 Command line: \EmbyServer.dll -noautorunwebapp MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: BadRequest Source: Emby.Server.Implementations TargetSite: Void MoveNext() I have reinstalled Trakt and then reconnected my account directly in the Trakt section for my user. It shows that I successfully connect, but I see this: Any ideas what is happening?
Luke 43493 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
podonnell 55 Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 Hi. It is pretty much happening all the time that there is a playback under my user account. embyserver.txt
Luke 43493 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 OK i would try setting up trakt authentication again. Make sure to click save on the screen when you are done. Please see if that helps.
podonnell 55 Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 I did give that a shot a few times but the image above is the state that it remains in. I never see a successful authorization.
Luke 43493 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Ok please try again and let us know exactly what happens. Thanks.
podonnell 55 Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 I clicked generate code, it gave me the code. I opened the linked Trakt website and it asked me for the code. I input it and received: Then, back in Emby: This is the pattern I saw before. I will now play a video and expect to see the same errors in the previously attached log.
Solution Luke 43493 Posted October 15 Solution Posted October 15 Quote Then, back in Emby: And then what did you do?
podonnell 55 Posted October 15 Author Posted October 15 Hah... I did not click save at the bottom. That has now corrected the issue: > Last successful authorization: 10/15/2026, 5:05:13 PM 1
