corley 0 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Recently added the new 2026 ONN 4K pro google streaming box to my Sony 85x91j tv which was running out of app storage. Setup the Emby for Android TV app. The server runs on a windows intel nuc and performed flawlessly with my OTA recordings when the app is on the internal tv storage. When running emby app for OTA recordings from the ONN 4K pro box and I fast forward through commercials there are times the video portion freezes onscreen, but the audio keeps playing. I have to exit the show using the back button on the ONN remote and then re-open the emby app to get the audio functioning again. Any workarounds other than keeping the emby app on my tv's internal app storage. Trying to keep DW happy with only using 1 remote for our streaming uses.
ebr 16975 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
corley 0 Posted October 13 Author Posted October 13 Is the debug in the Emby App Settings? I didn't see it. Thanks!

corley 0 Posted October 14 Author Posted October 14 hopefully, the correct log file attached Exactly what you were doing and what happened. Include the name of whatever you played if it is a playback problem - freezes up sometimes when FF or skipping back -recorded FBI broadcast episode - tried to watch at 8:30pm - 10/13/26 The time you sent the log (in Eastern Time please - UTC -5): 10:16 am 10/14/2026 The name of the Emby user on the local server that was logged in at the time: Corley23 EMBY LOG.txt
corley 0 Posted October 16 Author Posted October 16 Was the uploaded log the correct one? Does it provide the clues of what the issue is?
corley 0 Posted 54 minutes ago Author Posted 54 minutes ago Just checking in to see if there has been any progress on this? Thank you for looking into this!
ebr 16975 Posted 21 minutes ago Posted 21 minutes ago Hi. The log you provided is only partial. Did you grab it while the problem was occurring or after playback? Do you have the same problem with the standard Android app?
