Intro scan completes in 0 seconds.

Whenever I trigger a scan I just get the following in the logs, no new intros are found at all:

I've double checked and the episode plays perfectly and has sound. How do I resolve this?
I don't want to have to delete the episode

Is there only that one episode?
Audio fingerprints usually needs more episodes to compare to, otherwise it doesn't know what to look after.

No, it's one of twelve.. 

But it's not adding intro skip to any new episodes. 

It is adding the new episodes to Emby but doesn't appear to be scanning them to add the skip intro.

Or were you asking if that was the only episode in the series it was happening on? In which case, yes, as that is exactly what the log says, I'm guessing the others are fine.

Try refreshing the metadata on the season. After that, the next time the task runs, it will redetect for those episodes.

It's not just that series that isn't getting updated skip intro... None are, despite them appearing in Emby. It appears to only be scanning that episode. 

 

Tested and no different.

Did you try what I suggested? Remember that you need to have at least two episodes per season.

Yes, I did, hence my reply saying I tested it and no different. 

 

I've spun up a beta version and am scanning for intros on that now...

Having deleted all the previous episodes that were causing "issues".
Every time I run the intro scan it flags the same episode but hasn't added intro skip to any other episode at all and certainly hasn't added it to this episode.

BEFORE I'm asked again, the episode in question is part of a series of episodes and is NOT the only one in the series. I have added other episodes to other series which aren't listed but also have not had episode skips added either.

Log removed as apparently it's of no use. It showed the scan triggering and not doing anything but apparently that's of no use.

The log showed the scan being triggered and doing nothing. It showed EXACTLY what happened from the point I rebooted the server until after the scan. I've removed it as it's of no use.
What are you wanting to see?
The problem isn't adding new episodes, that works.
The problem is what happens when the "detect episode intros" is triggered as that does nothing.

@Akirainblaplease refresh the metadata on the season, then once that is finished, please run the detect episode intros task. You'll have to just watch the log for activity because there is no UI indicator of an individual item metadata refresh.

Once that is done, then please attach the complete emby server log file. Thanks.

There was no output in the scan saying it was checking for intro's this time, however there are still a good number of episodes that still don't have the intro skip, despite the fact the other episodes in the series do.
I've not uploaded the logs as they show that no files have been scanned for new intros and as such are less use than when Neminem apparently tried to help.

Its not a Official Emby plugin, its made by a community member.

We sadly have not seen lately.

 If you look at that dev's profile its been, well a long time since Dev been around.

Sadly its still in the plugin catalog.
