After looking into this more, the AC3 stereo problem works fine on my Google TV (TCL)

But on my Fire Cube, the ATV app doesn’t invoke any speed change with ac3 stereo.

Tests performed using the local Emby user "Maison".

Test started at 09:08 (UTC+2) / 02:08 (UTC-5).

Results:

• Futurama: playback speed controls worked.
• Airplane! (Y a-t-il un pilote dans l'avion ?): playback speed controls did not work.
• L'amour est dans le pré: playback speed controls did not work
• L'amour est dans le pré: playback speed controls did not work (double test)

Log sent at 09:11 (UTC+2) / 02:11 (UTC-5).

Unfortunately, Android compressed all the relevant log lines in your log.  Can you try sending the log directly from the player during playback right after trying to change speed?  There should be an option under the cog on the OSD.

@ebr: I don't know what to do. What a shame, I'm sure we're close. It's as if, because the file is in stereo, it doesn't downmix, even though it's still necessary to speed things up

Hopefully, TMC will be able to get me a new log and that will lead to whatever is happening for you too.

There is very little in this log for some reason but there is this error:

For me, It's on AC3 stereo (AAC stereo works fine), but I haven't tested any other stereo formats (not sure if I have any)

I don't know what those errors in my log mean, but here is what I did 

1. enasble debug
2. started playback
3. tried to change speed to 2x 2 times 
4. send log

Is there anything else I can do? Maybe I could send you a clip of a problem video?
