MAX92 103 Posted Monday at 12:37 PM Posted Monday at 12:37 PM Bonjour, I updated my version of EMBY for TV this week from 2.0.70g to 2.1.55. Unfortunately, after this update, I can no longer run faster all my movies—for example, all of my recordings. I noticed that the option "audio output" to put "downmix stereo" is no longer exists. As a result, some videos no longer support playback acceleration. On the standard EMBY Android app, I can't speed up the playback at all. Would it be possible to bring back this option and include it in the Standard version? Or to have an automatic toggle when you speed up a video?

MAX92 103 Posted Monday at 01:35 PM Author Posted Monday at 01:35 PM I was able to install version Emby for Android TV_2.1.26g, and it works great. However, the "Playback/Audio Output/Stereo Downmix" menu is still there.

MAX92 103 Posted Monday at 09:50 PM Author Posted Monday at 09:50 PM Nothing happens, the video stays at normal speed
Luke 43112 Posted Monday at 09:58 PM Posted Monday at 09:58 PM Quote On the standard EMBY Android app, I can't speed up the playback at all. Hi, what makes you think that you can't ?

I believe it is correct that the standard app will just do nothing but the TV app should automatically switch playback methods if you attempt to change the speed on an item that has bitstreamed audio direct playing. Let's please look at a specific example. Thanks.

MAX92 103 Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago (edited) @ebr When I start playing a video and try to set the speed to x2, nothing happens on some of them. I’ve sent you the log from the app after trying on 2 videos. I also tried a third one that works, and I’ve sent you the log from the app for that one as well. Is it clear for you ? For information : I test for the same video witch works on 2.0.70g on Emby for Android 3.5.57, no acceleration Edited 21 hours ago by MAX92

Include the name of whatever you played if it is a playback problem The time you sent the log (in Eastern Time please - UTC -5) The name of the Emby user on the local server that was logged in at the time

ebr 16719 Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago All your logs are empty. I've never seen that before. Do you have a custom ROM on your device or something?
MAX92 103 Posted 34 minutes ago Author Posted 34 minutes ago (edited) @ebrNo I use a Zidoo. I think the change you made in version 2.1.55 works perfectly, except when the video is in stereo. What do you want me to do ? Edited 30 minutes ago by MAX92
