Why remove downmix audio to stereo

Since this has been removed I can't play any guides with ac3/eac3/DTS or any surround on my TV on most android TV devices now since it was removed tried the new setting it doesn't work please re add the Audi output/downmix to stereo option back in playback settings

Hi there, what exactly makes you think it's been removed? Where exactly are you looking for it?

Are you using an optical audio connection or something similar that is not providing HDMI side-data?  If so, be sure you are configuring your audio settings in Android appropriately.

Alternatively, you can try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?
