tisron13 2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hi, I've just updated my NAS from an Asustor AS5304T to a UGREEN DXP8800 Plus. On the UGREEN NAS, I've set up my shared folders for my media, I've added Emby to docker and added my media shares to Emby. Emby works perfectly, and better, when connected on the local network My problem is that when trying to connect remotely, that is sharing my Emby server with friends outside the local network. I've enabled the UGREEN remote link, invited friends to join, set permissions, all of these things are set as they should be, but no one is able to connect to the server. When I was using the Asustor NAS, I had to get a static IP address as my ISP uses CGNAT and port forwarding just didn't work. By using a static address Emby just worked perfectly be it local or remote. So if anyone has any ideas as to how to get remote connections working I'd love to hear them. Many thanks, tisron13
