I tested this and it doesn't auto detect properly.  E-AC3 with Atmos doesn't get passthrough via the Emby App for Android but the Emby for Android TV is working.   Now I have to switch back to Emby for Android TV.

I can open an issue but as a workaround if you can add the option to the "Android" version to toggle passthrough of audio formats like the Android TV version, it wouldn't matter that auto detect doesn't work.  Thoughts?

No because the settings only exist to turn off passthrough, not to make it happen.
