montage image size is not optimized

to put it politely.  Sooo, I was creating collections in my libraries and see that the montage that is created is kinda oogly.  It's distorted and not taking up the entire card size.  What's going on?

If your car is having trouble steering do you bring the whole car to your mechanic or do you pop off the steering wheel and just bring  that?

 Anyway automatic collection images are created in 2:3 aspect ratio. It looks best when the source images are also 2:3. If they aren’t, then that’s when you probably just want to set your own image.

Well, that whole screen isn't exactly my whole Emby?   Did it lead you to the answer?

Can you explain a little bit more for dunces like me?  You can see that the images are scrunched up like 2vertical:1horizontal.  There is plenty of room in the card to make it look decent, don't know why we don't do it.

Hi.  Collection primary images are assumed to be poster shaped because most of them are.  So, if you have collections made up of items with primary images that are not that shape, you probably will want to provide an image of your own instead of relying on the automatic ones.
