Please fix it, I know you can.

Fix what? did you try the suggestion from the user above?

Yes and it does not help at all. The only way to refresh the photos, as I mentioned earlier, is to scroll through all the actors list list every movie and every tv show. And then fetch missing metadata. Besides The new movies I add also have missing actors even ones that I fixed earlier, so I still believe it's a server bug.

The response does not help. My images are not in opt but in var, check the screenshots.

I think the query just has to be adjusted to look for the right records to blank out. Since they're pointing to folders on your windows c drive, that's probably what it should be looking for.

When I fetch metadata why Emby quits prematurely when it sees an invalid path? It should fetch new data and overwrite the path.

It doesn't know that it's invalid until it actually tries to reach it, and this doesn't happen until you view it in the user interface.

So what is the point of "Search for missing metadata" function then when it cannot check for missing files? Is it just crawling the db and checking for missing entries?

It does do that on the movie or series, but doesn't go into each of the cast members. For that you'd have to refresh metadata on actual people, which would take you longer.

Did you run the scan metadata folder task like i mentioned earlier?

I moved some time ago my Emby server from Windows to Ubuntu,

I have read through the posts and the cause of the issues was this. Migration from filesystem with different delimeters in paths ("\" and  "/") is not an option unless you find all the references and correct them. For example all the Images paths for the cast will have the wrong path folder delimeter

Browsing the log from the 11th August - shows you have one library still referencing a windows path!

Library: Muzyka, id: 7, CollectionType: music, CollapseSingleItemFolders: False, ForceCollapseSingleItemFolders: False
	Configured paths: /media/oomek/Data/MP3,D:\MP3
	Library Folder: MP3, id: 8: path: D:\MP3
	Library Folder: MP3, id: 67136: path: /media/oomek/Data/MP3

if all the media in D:\MP3 is now in /media/oomek/Data/MP3 then just edit that library and remove the D Drive windows path

I will send you a link to upload a zip of the database and I will have a look to see what can be done to salvage this setup

but I was having the issue with photos long before that

If you did have an issue with missing cast images before the migration from windows to linux then that would have been a different issue

I did not know what you mean initially, I thought you meant Refresh Metadata.
Scan Metadata task took 41 seconds. I looked through some movies and so far I do not see broken images.

I have also added 2 new movies and all photos are there, I will keep monitoring it.

Thanks for the help.
