no tmdb id for director and crews on tv shows

i just realized that on tv shows library, director and crews not picking up tmdb id, is it intended like that? i have to identify manually each one and it's a lot of work. movies library is good though, all actor and crews tmdb id is always filled.

Have you set tmdb to be the primary metadata provider for TV?  It's not the default setting.

yeah, of course. the cast is working fine, only director, writer, etc not picking up tmdb id.

 

but for movies library all cast & crews is getting tmdb id.

Hi, try refreshing the metadata on the series and see if that helps.

unfortunately, that's not working, this is director for some episodes and when i click it's still blank just the name.

what exactly did you try to do?

to get image and bio, it's not populated because it's not have tmdb id, all crew like director and writer not picking up tmdb id when scanning on tv show library, actor is working fine though they pick up tmdb id.

I mean what exactly did you do in the user interface?

just adding new movies and tv shows library, it's a new emby setup. after it's done i try to refresh metadata on tv shows library and the crew tmdb id still not there.

OK, that's not what I asked. Try refreshing the metadata on one of these series and then see how things compare.

Also what metadata fetchers are enabled on the library and in what order?

Sorry if I'm wrong, but this is basically what I do on a fresh Emby Server 4.10.0.22.

It looks like you disabled tvdb, which is fine, but this is not exactly a fresh install. obviously you have configured certain things.

Yes - we are not picking any of the Crew from tmdb series lookup and when we pickup writer and director from the episode tmdb metadata, we are not storing the tmdb providerids
