What does maintenance mode do specifically?

Is it more than just denying non-admin logins? If I am doing changes to the contents of the library paths, will Emby still automatically pick them up/perform library scans in maintenance mode and update them? I actually don't want to have it update the library, so I am trying to determine if I need to do a total shutdown or not.

Hi, yes you'll still be able to do admin functions. You just won't be able to browse the library.

Ok, but will it continue to do automatic and scheduled operations, like if it's monitoring the folders for changes, will it pick those up, or does everything go manual? So as long as I don't tell it to start a scan, it shouldn't detect changes?
