mexsurf24 1 Posted July 22 Posted July 22 My child uses an Android device, while my friend has an iPhone. They both encounter the same issue when trying to stream movies or TV shows; they receive an error message that prevents them from accessing the content. On the other hand, my wife and I both use Android phones, and we don't experience any of those streaming problems on our devices. In fact, our TVs and computers play the content without any issues at all. It’s interesting to see the contrast between our experiences, especially since my kid and my friend are facing similar difficulties with their devices. What do you think it is? hardware_detection-63920228202.txt
mexsurf24 1 Posted July 22 Author Posted July 22 As soon as my daughter starts to play a movie or TV show it will kick the message No compatible streams.

Lessaj 545 Posted July 22 Posted July 22 I'm going to guess bitrate settings, and you disabled allow video transcoding. Without a concrete example, and just perusing some TranscodeReasons that's my guess.
mexsurf24 1 Posted July 22 Author Posted July 22 The first log is when i asked her to try and play a movie just to catch the log file

Lessaj 545 Posted July 22 Posted July 22 The provided server log ends at 17:14 but this ffmpeg log is from 21:58, so they don't align. I don't see any issues in the transcode log, playback was on a Roku which you haven't mentioned any issues with.
mexsurf24 1 Posted July 23 Author Posted July 23 That was the wrong one. It was being played from an android phone, and this the only file that comes up under the log when she tries to play a movie. It won't even make a ffmpeg file. embyserver (1).txt

ebr 16627 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Hi. And also, please, what time did that occur? I mean what time on the clock so that we can look in the log at the proper place. Thanks.
