Cooltwou76 0 Posted yesterday at 03:44 PM Posted yesterday at 03:44 PM My server was working just fine before the power went out yesterday Morning. Ever since the power came back on every time I go to watch something it keeps giving me a blue circle going around and around and keeps saying too many errors and a quit message and I don’t know what is going on. I am using Linux Mint and my media is on an external hard drive
visproduction 365 Posted yesterday at 03:59 PM Posted yesterday at 03:59 PM Suspect possible file access rights affected after power outage on Linux systems. see: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/191682/ubuntu-broken-after-power-failure-how-to-fix 1

Neminem 1797 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) There is nothing of value in those logs. Did you try to login in, in these logs. Your logs cover under a minut and are of no use. Edited 3 hours ago by Neminem
Cooltwou76 0 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago I was singed into my account when I clicked on Logs
Neminem 1797 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Did you look at the log? Before posting them? Did you try to play something in the time span of log? Its still the same standpoint you logs only show less that 1 minut of logs. With no playback attempts that reaches your server.
Cooltwou76 0 Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago I attached another log where I played something & got the same blue circle & the error message too many tries giving up embyserver(1).txt
Lessaj 532 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Ensure your mount point is properly accessible, there are several errors like this: System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: Input/output error : '/mnt/wwn-0x5000c500e90d708c-part2/Wrestling/Wrestling/Kenny Omega' System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: Input/output error : '/mnt/wwn-0x5000c500e90d708c-part2/Marvel/Movies' System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: Input/output error : '/mnt/wwn-0x5000c500e90d708c-part2/Movies' 1
Neminem 1797 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It look like you have mount issues System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: Input/output error : '/mnt/wwn-0x5000c500e90d708c-part2/Wrestling/Wrestling/Kenny Omega' System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: Input/output error : '/mnt/wwn-0x5000c500e90d708c-part2/Marvel/Movies' Is the mount working out side Emby? Also CoverArt plugin is not working without Emby Premiere, and those errors are making logs hard to read. 1
Cooltwou76 0 Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago I am able to open the external hard drive in the file browser & everything I clicked opened & how do I fix mount issues
Neminem 1797 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Not really the right person to help here. But there might be something in here. Quick Start | Emby Documentation Linux/Unix Permissions | Emby Documentation

Lessaj 532 Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago (edited) That is not the same location you have told Emby server where your files are. How did you configure your libraries? EDIT: Depending on how you configured the libraries, the error may be indicating an error with that particular partition, but need to see the configuration. EDIT2: Right it's in your log file. Yea you need to be looking at /mnt/wwn-0x5000c500e90d708c-part2 because that's what you set up. I don't know why you would have done it this way, using a wwn in the wrong place...
