sdragon001 29 Posted yesterday at 01:20 PM Posted yesterday at 01:20 PM (edited) Emby Sever beta: 4.10.0.18 Trakt Plugin: 3.8.3 Issue: After import or file scan Trakt plugin does not import watched status and update Emby. Example: Movie/TV Episode marked watched on Trakt and after import schedule task, this will not update on Emby to mark movie/episode as watched. This started between June 25, 2026 and Present. Steps taken to try to resolve: rolled Emby Server back to 4.10.0.12/.13/.14/.15/.16/.17 problem persists. Removed and re added Trakt pin for user, this did not solve problem either. Luke 42712 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
sdragon001 29 Posted 16 hours ago Author Posted 16 hours ago The best example is pretty generic as the above problem happens on all files. A watched status on Trakt is not being synced to Emby and being marked as watched. scrobbling works fine from Emby to Trakt. I’ve reconnected Emby and Trakt multiple times to see if it was a connection error. But that’s not the case. I’ve added about 6 movies that have a watched status on Trakt but after running an import Trakt scan, status does not get marked watched on Emby.

Hi, please select an exact example and provide a description of it here including file naming, organization, and a log file from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks.
sdragon001 29 Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago Once I’m back at my server I’ll update and add. but looking into issues and found out a few days ago Trakt updated their api and having issues with other services (kodi, Jellyfin, infuse, sen, and so on that pull Trakt data) pulling watched data. issues maybe because of: Requests without pagination now return page 1 with up to 100 items. 1
Mahtan 4 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Yes same problem for me. He existe alternative for emby of trakt ?

Or my mom will shoot, Don’t look up. This is just a few of them that will not update its watch status. embyserver.txt

And for that specific example, what exactly happened? How are the files named and organized?

This is only a recent problem so I don’t think it has anything to do with structure and organization but see below. After creating the movie rip I add the movie to my Emby path for library. So let’s use Piranah 3D as our example file. files are names and organized like: Movie folder which Emby sees as the movie library and inside that looks like this. Folder: Piranah 3D (2010) [imdb-tt0464154] File inside folder: Piranha 3D (2010) [imdb-tt0464154].mkv metadata all present from Emby scan to identify and is correct.
sdragon001 29 Posted 17 minutes ago Author Posted 17 minutes ago @LukeHere is some more info for changes in api posted on GitHub. I hope this helps narrow down what’s going on. “Likely related to the recent Trakt API change that returns paginated results. The data is there, the app just needs to grab each page of data to obtain your full watched history.” https://github.com/trakt/trakt-api/discussions/775
