Now if we could get the fix for recording mulit-part episodes into a production build, it would be nice!

Could you not just click record on both parts? I have not come across this yet.

Yes, I could, and I did.  This is how I know it was borked.  I schedule my recordings from the guide.

So if you set a recording and it is labelled part 1 and part 2 it only records part 1 and ignores part 2? What about if you set the recording to record all new for that show will it still not record part 2? Myself I have not recorded anything with 2 parts per 1 season. I set it to record everything new and then it auto converts everything for me to 8 so all my tv's can play it without any problems. It works really good and I like it so we never miss the news anymore thanks to emby working as good as it does, just set it and forget it.

Yes that is a bit odd, hopefully it will get sorted in an emby server update.

Yes but after I restart my server it will update again to a newer one.

Did you just get the update prompt like me? it may be a fix for your recordings of part 1 and part 2.

What do you mean 'again update'.  How many times is it trying to update?  4.9.5.0 is the current production version.

I have had 4.9.5.0 since May.  The recording fix was not listed in the release notes.

I never restarted it yet because there are people watching tv and I don't want the phone to ring if I restart I don't feel like being on the phone. But yeah it today a little bit ago says there is an update so I was just thinking it might be a fix for you with your tv recordings 🙂

Just wondering did anyone else get that restart prompt the other day for updates? I don't see anything update after I restarted.

Luke?

Probably a plugin being updated. the server dashboard will say what was updated at that time.
