Stop commands issued to matched sessions. Getting Started Select Users and Media types to protect. Pause on 1 device, play on another If you have issues, review the Live and History dashboard and debug logs. Spoiler Another description ClearPaused keeps your resume point honest when you watch the same show or movie on more than one device. If you pause something on the lounge TV and then hit Resume on your phone, the TV's paused session is automatically stopped — so your phone becomes the one true "where I'm up to" for that item, and the TV won't silently overwrite your progress later when it eventually gets closed out. If instead you choose Play from the beginning on another device rather than resuming, the plugin checks whether the paused session elsewhere had actually gotten far enough in to count as a real saved position (this uses the same "how far in counts as worth remembering" rule Emby itself already uses per library). If that paused session barely got going — say, someone left it paused thirty seconds in and walked away — starting fresh elsewhere will still close it out, since there was nothing meaningful to protect. But if it was paused at a genuine point partway through, starting over somewhere else leaves it alone; your progress there is safe and won't be touched. Just pausing something never triggers any of this by itself, and a session that's actively playing elsewhere is never interfered with — so if two people share an account and are independently watching two different things (or even the same thing) on separate devices, neither one will accidentally stop the other. Disclaimers Vibe coded with Claude, backup database before 1st use until tested, only limited short term testing on beta server so far. Download 0.0.0.1 ClearPaused.dll incoming..
