Captions have stopped working in Emby Windows App

Afternoon all!

so. recently the captions stopped working in the windows app. I checked and if i go to the server via a browser - captions work perfectly. Captions work on the Android app as well. I haven't tried the Roku app yet but I will.

are there some settings specific to the Windows Store app that i need to mess with ? I didn't change anything - it just stopped working.
