Editing Library Folder/Source not working

Hello,

When i select an existing library to edit the media sources, the first field cannot be changed (you can highlight it, but cannot change it). As a workaround I have to add the new path and remove the old one. Doesn't matter if I was running as a service or not, same issue.

Thanks,

Hi there!

You just need to remove it and then add the new one.

Hi, I don’t want to remove the library as it’s setup correctly, just the folder location changed.

I added the new folder and removed the old one and that worked, but there is an edit icon for a reason I figure and it’s not allowing editing was what I was trying to report.

He is right though. There currently isn't a function to change a path, although it's something we plan to support in future updates. Thanks.

Thanks @Lukeit felt like it was there because of the edit icon (pencil) and there is a little down expand arrow on the far right that didn’t do anything either.

Adding the new location before deleting the old one seemed to do the job just fine for now.

i will mark the thread as answered and assume you have it as a feature request for the future.

thanks!

Right currently when you do that the only thing you can edit is the shared network folder mapping.
