js28194 63 Posted June 12 Posted June 12 (edited) Hello, 1% problem here.... I have my setup at home that records OTA HDHomerun OTA devices (Football is important) and OTA recordings are about 4GB file size. Fine and Manageable. Now I have a completely secondary setup elsewhere in the ether that I record Cable via a HDHomerund Prime (CableCard) from FS1 for the rest of the matches. Those recordings are a fraction over 11GB. Is there anything I can do an tweak to make them smaller? I've poked around and do not see anything that jumps out and smacks me in the face. Yes, I agree after the fact I can do some remux with handbrake or makemkv magic, but just wondering if anything can be done? Does anybody have a "post processing" magical script to reduce the bitrate? I sense this is probably the route that is going to have to occur automagically. OTA comes in over 720p at 4mbps Cable comes in over 720p at 13mps Audio seems to the same. Edited June 12 by js28194
