Thanks I will have to get back to you on it as its my parents having the problem , when i turn these logs on , i should start playing the file again till it starts skipping yes , as first thing i did when i was at parents was check for logs but there was none , suppose i must have never turned them on like in your guide

Hi.  The screen you posted is telling you the reason...

It says the resolution isn't supported.  Is it a 4K file on a non-4K device?

Where does it say 4k , is it not 1080p

I was just guessing based on the reason for transcoding.

Please post the ffmpeg log.
