Clashii 3 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Emby seems completely broken on my WD MyCloud EX2 Ultra at the moment. I've noticed a few problems with new media after i updated to 4.10.0.13 Beta. Updating to 4.10.0.14 Beta just stops the server from even starting, and just giving me a "Connection refused" error. Only by downgrading to 4.10.0.12 Beta is allowing the server to even start. I don't get any info on Video or Audio Tracks for new media, and can't change them. My log is full of the following errors after manually rescan my library: *** Error Report *** Version: 4.10.0.12 Command line: /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/embyserver/system/EmbyServer.exe -programdata /mnt/HD/HD_a2/emby -ffdetect /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/embyserver/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/embyserver/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/embyserver/bin/ffprobe -nolocalportconfig -pidfile /var/run/embyserver.pid -defaultdirectory /shares/Public -updatepackage emby-server-western_digital-mono-os5-any_{version}_arm.bin -noskia Operating system: Linux version 4.14.22-armada-18.09.3 (kman@kmachine) (gcc version 8.3.0 (Debian 8.3.0-2)) #1 SMP Thu Oct 27 08:25:39 UTC 2022 ga-18.09.3 Build-30 OS/Process: X86/X86 Framework: Mono: 6.12.0.199 (tarball Thu May 14 05:42:31 PM UTC 2026) Runtime: mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/embyserver/lib/mono/4.5/mscorlib.dll Processor count: 2 Data path: /mnt/HD/HD_a2/emby Application path: /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/embyserver/system Emby.Server.MediaEncoding.Unified.Ffmpeg.FfRunException: Emby.Server.MediaEncoding.Unified.Ffmpeg.FfRunException: Error running ffprobe: -i file:"/shares/Medien/Serien/[REDACTED FOR PRIVACY]" -threads 0 -v info -print_format json -show_streams -show_chapters -show_format -show_data /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/embyserver/bin/ffprobe: error while loading shared libraries: /lib/libz.so.1: internal error at Emby.Server.MediaEncoding.Probing.MediaProbeManager.GetMediaInfoInternal (MediaBrowser.Model.Dto.MediaSourceInfo mediaSource, System.String inputPath, System.String primaryPath, MediaBrowser.Model.MediaInfo.MediaProtocol protocol, System.Boolean extractChapters, System.Boolean isAudio, System.Threading.CancellationToken cancellationToken) [0x0018c] in <af66fd24569a4d2a9bd542974e5dacf8>:0 at Emby.Providers.MediaInfo.FFProbeVideoInfo.ProbeVideo[T] (MediaBrowser.Controller.Providers.MetadataResult`1[T] metadataResult, MediaBrowser.Controller.Providers.MetadataRefreshOptions options, MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.BaseItem[] collectionFolders, MediaBrowser.Model.Configuration.LibraryOptions libraryOptions, System.Threading.CancellationToken cancellationToken) [0x002a2] in <a5f4f1f84dc0401b859b60844f02e59f>:0 at Emby.Providers.Manager.MetadataService`2[TItemType,TIdType].RunCustomProvider (MediaBrowser.Controller.Providers.ICustomMetadataProvider`1[TItemType] provider, MediaBrowser.Controller.Providers.MetadataResult`1[T] itemResult, System.String logName, MediaBrowser.Controller.Providers.MetadataRefreshOptions options, MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.BaseItem[] collectionFolders, MediaBrowser.Model.Configuration.LibraryOptions libraryOptions, Emby.Providers.Manager.RefreshResult refreshResult, System.Threading.CancellationToken cancellationToken) [0x00117] in <a5f4f1f84dc0401b859b60844f02e59f>:0 Source: mscorlib TargetSite: Void Throw()
Clashii 3 Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago Update as of now: Downgrading to the last Non-Beta Release 4.9.5.0 has at least fixed the media scanning issues, guess i should just stay away from beta releases with the low-end NAS from now on.
