Aleas 91 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Current Behavior: Currently, when a media item contains multiple stored versions (example: the new "Spider Noir" series, which includes both Black & White and Color editions), switching between these versions requires interrupting the viewing experience. The user must exit the active playback session, navigate back to the media item's detail page, manually select the alternate version from the dropdown menu, and resume playback. Proposed Behavior: Implement a feature within the active playback OSD settings menu that allows users to toggle between available video versions on the fly. Use Case & Benefit: For media with distinct visual editions (B&W vs. Color, Director's Cut vs. Theatrical), users frequently want to compare scenes or dynamically switch aesthetics without breaking immersion. Allowing version selection directly from the OSD—similar to how audio tracks or subtitle streams are currently handled. Edited 3 hours ago by Aleas
