Can end users reset their password by themselves ?

Hi everyone,

 

Regarding the "Forgotten password" link - would it be possible for end users to be able to reset their password by theselves?

So they are mailed a one-time link to use?

I've seen the option to add a mail address for users, however it seems to be related to emby connect only

Hello.

Yes, users can change their passwords. When a user logs in they can click their profile icon > app settings > profile and in the password section they can change the password themselves. 
I think that doing this bypasses Emby Connect so if they forget their password, you will have to reset it for them. 

If I am wrong, please someone let me know.

Resetting a password requires the server admin.
I agree though, a feature for this would be nice as for example it's not always i have access to my server when family members forget their password for the umpteenth time.

I just tell my users to f-off if they can't remember there own created password.

And tell them to check there email I send them

ID10T users are always in the way of  my sleeping habits .
