Profile no longer working

I have just restarted my Mac.  I had not restarted the machine in a while and the mac itself felt like it needed a restart. Emby was working correctly in the morning but after I restarted the computer I was asked to re-log into the server and my problem goes from this point

everything started fine with no requirement for updating of the operating system or programs from what I could see.

I have tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari

when I was asked to login.  I was asked for my password.  When the server opened my home page was empty and I no premiere details and all of my drives have gone just as though I had just installed Emby.   Is the server info saved on my Mac anywhere so I don't have to go through the process of installing all of my files again? 

The server was out of date  so i have reinstalled that and have entered my Premiere key.

Hi, did you install the update as a different user on the mac system than the one who originally installed it?

Hi Luke, no the problem happened before I upgrade though so everything should be the same as it was.

I shut down the mac and restarted it and was unable to log back in > i updated the Emby server software because i thought it might make a difference but no!

it feels line the connection to the drives id no longer valid could that be the case?

When you started up did you get the startup wizard?

Yes, I go the start up wizard but i have passed that .
