Dan Hughes 1 Posted June 1 Posted June 1 I have just restarted my Mac. I had not restarted the machine in a while and the mac itself felt like it needed a restart. Emby was working correctly in the morning but after I restarted the computer I was asked to re-log into the server and my problem goes from this point everything started fine with no requirement for updating of the operating system or programs from what I could see. I have tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari when I was asked to login. I was asked for my password. When the server opened my home page was empty and I no premiere details and all of my drives have gone just as though I had just installed Emby. Is the server info saved on my Mac anywhere so I don't have to go through the process of installing all of my files again? The server was out of date so i have reinstalled that and have entered my Premiere key.
Luke 42709 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Hi, did you install the update as a different user on the mac system than the one who originally installed it?
Dan Hughes 1 Posted June 2 Author Posted June 2 Hi Luke, no the problem happened before I upgrade though so everything should be the same as it was.
Luke 42709 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 did you run the server as a different macOS user than the one who installed it?
Dan Hughes 1 Posted June 2 Author Posted June 2 I shut down the mac and restarted it and was unable to log back in > i updated the Emby server software because i thought it might make a difference but no! it feels line the connection to the drives id no longer valid could that be the case?
