robsen 3 Posted Thursday at 07:25 PM Posted Thursday at 07:25 PM Since I enjoy experimenting with the 3 major well-known media servers, I like to switch back and forth between all 3 from time to time. A while ago I stopped using Emby because I ran into the following problem. Out of nowhere it stopped updating my library. I'm fairly certain this happened after a server update, though I can no longer say which version it updated from or to. I tried deleting the library and adding it again. However, it only recognizes the C drive. I have 2 folders mapped as network drives from my NAS in Windows Explorer — R = Movies, S = Series. These are not displayed in the folder overview when adding a new library. It also doesn't recognize the NAS IP address. Via Explorer, Plex, Jellyfin, etc. I can access it without any issues. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?
robsen 3 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Okay, after 2 days I just continued testing. Now the folders are being displayed again (for whatever reason) as soon as I create a new library. However, the media search doesn't work. As soon as I click on it, the bar 'searching' appears very briefly and that's it.
