thibbb 1 Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Hi everyone, Running Emby 4.9.5.0 on a debian 12.14 - kernel 6.1.0-44-amd64 A few days ago, i added a 2 movies to my collection - la momie - le réveil de la momie And refreshed the associated library to see that one of the 2 movies was "not showing up" from the web interface Reason (that i understood thanks to its deletion) is because - "La momie" was identified as "Le réveil de la momie" - "Le réveil de la momie" was correctly identified Quote 2026-05-28 20:23:04.892 Info App: Removing item from database, Type: Movie, Name: Le Réveil de la Momie, Path: /x/La momie.mkv, Id: 703303 1- To fix this, i removed both movies Then moved back "la momie" to have it wrongly identified, but as it now shows up to the web interface, i can identify it to the correct movie Then moved back "Le réveil de la momie" that is identified to the correct movie -> Is there an easier way to proceed ? 2- Assuming it was not the only case, i compared web interface and local folder. There's a difference of 4 movies (more) in my local folder -> Is there any way to identify which movie is missing ? Thank you!
TMCsw 268 Posted May 28 Posted May 28 You need to name them properly in the first place (adding ID tags helps a lot). https://emby.media/support/articles/Movie-Naming.html#id-tags-in-folder--file-names
Luke 42522 Posted Saturday at 06:05 PM Posted Saturday at 06:05 PM Hi, using table view and enabling the file name to be displayed can also help with this.
thibbb 1 Posted Wednesday at 08:25 AM Author Posted Wednesday at 08:25 AM Thanks for the updates. @Luke the table view does not help, as files are missing from the web interface I don't see the missing ones

What exactly did you try to do with it?
