I am quite sure that the experts here will need things like a detailed description of your setup. What clients you are trying to use. How your server is set up. If you are on the same network as your server and, probably, many other things. Trying to diagnose a problem with such a flimsy description is next to impossible and will lead some people to believe that you are trying to connect to a server that someone has, in violation of Emby's TOS, sold access to. 

Just be as complete as possible in your description of your setup and what exactly you have tried and are trying and, maybe, even server logs from when you tried to connect and much help will be available.

So I downloaded the app from the Microsoft Store and installed it, but when I open the app, there I need the enter the host.  Where do I find that?

You download the server software, install it, and then provide a library with the media files you want it to be able to play.
